Forest Lake Mobile Library

Visitors to the mobile library can borrow from a collection of over 6,000 items as well as access the wider library collection of over 1.4 million items, including children’s books, popular bestsellers and the latest magazines and DVDs.

Brisbane City Council has a mobile library service which offers a convenient service to residents of Forest Lake and other Brisbane suburbs.

The Mobile Library can be found at Forest Lake Shopping Centre Tuesday weekly from 9.30am – 4.00pm, excluding public holidays.

Customers will only be able to:

  • Return borrowed items.
  • Pick up holds when ready for collection, no holds fees will apply.

Membership is free. Simply visit the mobile library with your identification and sign up. Customers can continue using online services where possible to avoid long queues and delays.

Staffed and driven by librarians, the mobile library has features including a covered deck, extension pod, a lift for wheelchairs and prams, solar panels, internet computers and a Wi-Fi hotpot!
